Age Concern England and Help the Aged merged on 1 April 2009 to form Age UK, a single charity dedicated to improving the lives of people in later life.

Age Concern Chesterfield & District is not yet a partner with the new charity.

Age UK's work ranges from providing vital local services to influencing public opinion and government. Every day we are in touch with thousands of older people from all kinds of backgrounds - enabling them to make more of life.

Volunteers, Legacies and Donations

Volunteers

• We welcome anyone contacting us regarding voluntary work.
• We aim to make this an enjoyable experience for you.
• Training will be provided and out of pocket expenses reimbursed.
• We provide as much tea and coffee as you can drink.

Legacies and Donations

• As a registered charity we have to raise enough money to keep our doors open and our services running.
• If YOU can help with a gift, legacy or donation it will be very much appreciated by the Older People in our district.
• All money raised will be spent on services for older people in our local area.
